Studio Retreat Workshop for Students

Our free 10-day Studio Retreat every June is recognized as a distinctive educational program designed to provide a more thorough understanding of playwright Eugene O’Neill and his essential place in American drama while encouraging students to reach a new level of creativity within their own work. By collaborating with local theatre professionals, participants in this 10-day workshop gain valuable, hands-on insight into what the careers of working actors and playwright actually entail. We cater to all high school Sophomores, Juniors, and Seniors.
2024 Dates: Jun. 19 – 30 (with a break Mon., 24 and Tue. 25)
Where: Tao House, Las Trampas Hills above Danville, CA (students will be shuttled from their choice of two locations; Walnut Creek BART, and the Museum of the San Ramon Valley in Danville)
