Fugitive turned island dictator Brutus Jones learns that he has a revolt on this hands and must flee for his life. O’Neill’s ground-breaking play explores the psyche of a hunted man trying to outrun his guilt and fears. Don’t miss the American theatre’s first pyschological thrill ride.
There will be a post-show talk with the director and cast after every Sunday matinee.

Pre-Show Talk and Picnic Supper
On September 23rd and October 1st, a pre-curtain talk about The Emperor Jones will be given by Director Eric Frashier Hayes at 7pm at Tao House. Homemade Picnic suppers will be available for purchase of $20 when you buy your theater ticket online, or guests may bring their own suppers.
Picnic Supper Menu: Homemade Italian Chicken Pasta Salad, fruit salad, Ciabatta bread, a sweet treat, a glass of wine and a bottle of water.
For the Curtain Talk, an early shuttle will leave at 6pm from the Museum of the San Ramon Valley. The talk begins at 7pm.
